Bulk Item Collection

Monthly bulk collection is available for large items that cannot fit in the 95-gallon trash cart. Bulk items are collected on your assigned collection Saturday. This service may not be used to collect excess bags or boxes of household trash. Items should be at your collection point by 7 a.m. on collection day.

What's accepted for bulk collection?

Use these guidelines when sorting bulk items for collection. All items must weigh less than 150 pounds.

Accepted for pickup
Broken furniture
Household appliances
Lawnmowers (oil and gas removed)
Mattresses and box springs
Outdoor grills
Televisions
Toys (must label as bulk trash)
Washing machines and dryers
Water heaters
Yard tools (must label as bulk trash)
Refrigerators/freezers/AC units: To be eligible for pickup, these must be certified refrigerant-free by a certified professional, and the appliance must have the certification tag attached.
Not accepted for pickup
Car parts
Construction or demolition waste
Dead animals over 10 pounds
Excess household trash (boxes or bags)
Fence materials
Household chemicals: See chemical collection info
Remodeling materials
Rugs or carpeting over 6 feet in any dimension
Tree limbs or trunks
Yard trimmings
