Mental Health Resources
"Mental health problems don’t define who you are. They are something you experience. You walk in the rain and you feel the rain, but, importantly, you are not the rain.”- Matt Haig
Navigating services and support for mental health issues can be overwhelming and frustrating. Many times, individuals are left feeling alone and unsure of how to receive support in the community.
Allen Police Department's Crisis Intervention Program Manager can provide personal and professional support to individuals and families struggling with mental health. You can email the Crisis Intervention Program Manager or call 214.509.4347 with questions about in-person meetings or referrals. Call 911 for emergencies.
We want to make sure that families never feel alone in their journey. These contacts can provide crisis intervention as well as appropriate resources and referrals in the community.
