Most recreation facilities are closed for the Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday, Nov. 24 and Friday, Nov. 25. The Edge Skate Park and Allen Community Ice Rink are closed Nov. 24 and reopen on Nov. 25.

Plans are moving along for a new dog park at Jupiter Park. Once a bid is approved, construction is expected to take 9 to 12 months with expected opening in spring 2023.
